Director and industry veteran Ayman Majzoub.

Commenting on the decision to open an office in Dubai, Carsten Brinkschulte, CEO of
Synchronica, said, \"We are focusing very heavily on the Middle East, Africa, and the
Indian subcontinent because we believe that mobile email in the consumer sector will
take off first in these areas, as opposed to in more developed countries. This is
because these consumers rarely have access to a PC at home and may not even have a
fixed line. For them, the mobile phone - which is fast becoming the primary
communication channel in these regions - is a much more effective way of checking
their business and personal emails than constantly having to visit internet cafes.

growth rate (CAGR) of over 10 percent, from USD 22 billion in 2006 to USD 39.7
billion by the end of 2012.
